Manager, Project Management, Rack Construction (Hybrid, Seattle)
The Manager, Project Management oversees the successful execution of new Nordstrom Rack store construction projects and business initiatives. - Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely delivery and adherence to milestones.
- Implement quality control measures and conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with specifications and standards.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving issues to minimize impact on project outcomes.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Facilitate effective communication among all project participants, fostering collaboration and transparency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, permitting requirements, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing project performance and implementing lessons learned for future initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and end users to anticipate business needs and develop strategies for the Nordstrom Rack program.
- Monitor industry practices and trends, assessing their impact on business operations..
- Coordinate with external architects, engineers, and contractors.

- Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Architecture or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
- 7–10 years of progressive management experience in construction, including at least 4 years in project management and team leadership.
- Retail store construction experience preferred.
- Proven people management, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
