Doctoral Level Psychologist - Virtual or Hybrid

Remote role Full-time Open position

Resolve Psychology is a growing Ontario-based practice dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy and assessment services for adults experiencing a range of mental health concerns. We offer psychological services to clients presenting with a wide range of concerns including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, substance use, personality disorders, and many other concerns. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive, collegial, and client-centered environment. To meet the demands of the community, we are seeking a doctoral-level psychologist to join our team. Supervision is available for those working toward autonomous practice with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. Our head office is based out of Mississauga, Ontario. Opportunities for virtual and hybrid practice exist. For those living in areas outside of the Greater Toronto Area and seeking a hybrid arrangement (i.e., virtual and in-person) , we are able to establish satellite offices across Ontario to limit your commute time while allowing you to see clients in-person. Role Description This role offers opportunities for:

  • provision of comprehensive psychological assessments for individuals seeking diagnostic clarification,
  • provision of psychotherapy services to adolescents, adults and/or seniors presenting with a range of concerns,
  • provision of cognitive assessments to adults with respect to diagnosis, accommodation requirements, treatment needs and functional limitations.

Autonomous psychologists who are able to work with adolescents, couples, and/or seniors are welcome to apply. Supervision for those registering with the CPBAO and seeking competency in Clinical Psychology with individual adult clients is available. Please note that due to the diagnostic requirements associated with this role, only those registered as psychologists in a supervised or autonomous capacity will be considered. What we offer

  • Flexible scheduling that allows you to choose your hours and prioritize work-life balance
  • Opportunity to work from home as much as you would like
  • Opportunity to establish a hybrid practice close to home
  • Competitive compensation for both assessment and psychotherapy services
  • Support in building a fulfilling and diversified caseload
  • A collegial, supportive, and respectful work environment
  • Professional culture that values continual learning and development
  • Education and training allowance
  • Opportunities to expand your practice through the provision of supervision and consultation
  • Opportunities for training, skill development and public speaking
  • Supervision and peer-consultation in the areas of evidence-based treatments and assessment
  • Access to electronic technologies, including electronic test protocols, online scheduling, and electronic charting software

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Clinical/Counselling Psychology from an APA or CPA accredited graduate program
  • Registration with the CPBAO
  • Residing in Canada
  • Demonstrated experience providing evidence-based psychotherapy and diagnostic assessments
  • Training, education, and experience in a variety of therapeutic modalities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong ability to work as part of a team

How do I apply?
