Title: Assistant Account Executive - Public Relations Location: New York, New York, United States; San Francisco, California, United States Overview Access Brand Communications is a built-for-every-moment agency that specializes in cutting-edge PR skills – including AI-optimized PR, new media management, and cross-platform storytelling – for emerging, accelerating, and high-growth companies. We are currently looking for an Assistant Account Executive to join our fast-growing agency in a hybrid role in our New York City or San Francisco offices. The ideal candidate will have experience working on integrated public relations campaigns and supporting media relations initiatives. We are looking for a team player with a proactive mindset to keep a pulse on the media environment, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact with clients, media and account teams. About the Role

Create and maintain media lists; conduct media searches/inquiries. Execute outreach to generate coverage. Handle daily media monitoring, coverage reports, etc. Support campaign & program development through relevant research and contributing ideas to media activations, planning meetings, and brainstorms. Manage and create written materials including status reports, client correspondence. Proofread and edit documents; consolidate team edits; maintain records of supporting reference materials. Assist in creative strategy and planning through research, brainstorming participation, and assistance with presentations. Prepare monthly activity reports and conference/meeting status reports for circulation to team members. Event logistic support including vendor management, set-up, attendance tracking. Maintain team/client files, including client/prospect mailing lists, contact sheets and relevant trade publications.

Qualifications

Ability to join us in a hybrid model of working in-person in the office weekly. 1-2 years experience which can include previous internship experience in a public relations agency or a similar position. Excellent writing skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to work in multi-faceted, fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing or a related field preferred. The anticipated U.S. salary range for the Assistant Account Executive level is $55,000-$62,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications and geography.
