Job Summary

As a Health Plan Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our members, handling customer calls, resolving issues, and providing critical information to ensure their satisfaction with our services. You will work closely with our team to identify and address customer concerns, provide solutions, and offer support to ensure a seamless experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle customer calls, emails, and chats in a professional and courteous manner

  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide critical information to ensure their satisfaction
  • Identify and address customer concerns, providing solutions and support to ensure a seamless experience
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional customer service
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call volume, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction scores
  • Stay up-to-date on product and service offerings, as well as industry trends and developments
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* 1-2 years of experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software a plus

Preferred Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in customer service, healthcare, or a related field

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, healthcare administration, or communications
  • Experience working in a call center or customer service environment
  • Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCEP)
  • Fluency in a second language a plus
