As an Experienced Pharmacy Technician Data Entry and Customer Service Professional, you'll play a vital role in our pharmacy team, working closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the accurate and efficient dispensing of medications. Your primary responsibilities will include data entry, customer service, and collaboration with the pharmacy team to provide exceptional patient care. Day in the Life

As a Pharmacy Technician Data Entry and Customer Service Professional, your day will be filled with a variety of exciting challenges and opportunities. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Performing order entry tasks and collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and efficient medication dispensing
• Providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
• Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
• Assisting in reviewing narcotic prescriptions in a timely manner
• Providing dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
• Creating and maintaining accurate customer records

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you'll need to meet the following requirements:

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or working in a call center

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and experience are highly desirable:

• Prior experience in the long-term care industry
• PTCB National Certification
• Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
