Job Summary
As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including:
- Entering patient data into our electronic health record system
- Verifying patient information for accuracy and completeness
- Processing prescriptions and medication orders
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and medication administration
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients and clients
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless communication and workflow
Responsibilities
* Enters patient data into our electronic health record system, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Verifies patient information for accuracy and completeness, including demographic data, medical history, and medication lists
- Processes prescriptions and medication orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and medication administration
- Provides exceptional customer service to patients and clients, responding to questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborates with other team members to ensure seamless communication and workflow
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction
- Maintains confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA guidelines and regulations
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as health information management or pharmacy
- Current licensure as a registered pharmacist or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire
- 2+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, and pharmacy software and technology systems
- Strong understanding of data management principles and a keen eye for accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, clients, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with electronic health record systems and pharmacy software
- Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and regulations
- Certification in pharmacy technology or a related field
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
