Job Summary

As an Experienced Data Entry Assistant at blithequark, you will be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for Alternate Investments. Your primary focus will be on refining trade buy and sell purchases in client profiles, recognizing and fixing breaks identified between TD Ameritrade and the fund business or transfer brokers. You will also handle Business Activity Events, settle and reconcile move activity, and process and reconcile dividend activity. Additionally, you will conduct investigations of complex and escalated issues, execute testing and validation of new technology improvements, and work with vendors to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities

* Review and refine customer transactions in a timely and accurate manner

  • Identify and resolve account exceptions, including client and advisor amount discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with governing commitments, such as 2340 and 15C3-3
  • Reconcile business, returns, and transfer breaks across BOS and fund firms
  • Analyze and correct tax coding issues
  • Resolve internal and external issues, including source of breaks between TDA, the fund, and other external organizations
  • Provide process or technology solution alternatives to management
  • Remediate transfer issues with the fund or contra company
  • Answer client or organization partner questions regarding fund-specific requirements and eligibility
  • Provide follow-up on Substitute Investment transactions to expedite customer requests or remediate not-in-good-order concerns
  • Promptly and accurately finalize customer investing and returns requests

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field

  • Excellent typing skills, with a minimum of 60 words per minute
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the financial industry, particularly in Alternate Investments

  • Knowledge of tax coding and compliance regulations
  • Familiarity with TD Ameritrade and other financial systems
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Certification in data entry or a related field
