What to Expect

As a Patient Customer Service Specialist at blithequark, you'll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are ever the same. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Placing and receiving phone calls to/from patients to gather payment for medical expenses
  • Collecting demographic, insurance, and relevant information from patients, documenting appropriately in internal technology platforms
  • Educating patients on the healthcare revenue cycle and repayment programs to enhance their financial well-being
  • Researching and resolving patient questions or concerns using web-based tools and internal platforms
  • Maintaining and evolving knowledge of the processes and procedures of our clients

What We Require

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service capacity
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a call center environment
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in medical/insurance coding and billing
  • Residency in Wisconsin, Michigan, or Iowa if working from home
