Key Responsibilities: Delivering Exceptional Customer Service and Data Entry Excellence

  • Welcome and assist clients with the check-in and baggage registration process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Utilize computer systems to sell, print, and reissue tickets, as well as manage the check-in process, and accurately enter data into our systems.
  • Handle baggage and perform lifting tasks that involve moving items from scales to conveyor belts, as well as lifting items from floor level to waist level.
  • Practice security-conscious behaviors in every operational cycle and procedure, ensuring the safety and security of clients and colleagues.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to a wide range of inquiries regarding travel information, flight status, and baggage handling.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Accurately and efficiently enter data into our systems, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our customer records.
  • Perform data entry tasks, including but not limited to, entering customer information, flight details, and baggage handling data.

Essential Qualifications: Skills and Competencies Required for Success

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and oral, is essential, with a strong understanding of grammar, tone, and articulation.
  • Proficiency in Spanish, both written and oral, is preferred.
  • Entry-level computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • The ability to lift bags or items weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 70 pounds.
  • A flexible schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to enter data efficiently and accurately.
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to perform calculations and enter data accurately.

Preferred Qualifications: Additional Skills and Experience that Enhance Your Application

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as customer service, hospitality, or business administration.
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the aviation or travel industry.
  • Familiarity with airline operations, including ticketing, check-in, and baggage handling procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively resolve customer complaints.
  • Experience with data entry software and systems, including but not limited to, Microsoft Excel and Access.
  • Basic knowledge of airline systems and procedures, including but not limited to, Sabre and Amadeus.
