Job Summary

As a Customer Specialist, you will be the friendly face our customers rely on during tax season. You'll be responsible for providing expert support, answering questions, and resolving issues related to blithequark's tax products and software. With a focus on customer satisfaction, you'll work closely with our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Marketplace Performance Specialists (MPS) to ensure our customers have a seamless tax filing experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer support via phone, email, and chat, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues related to blithequark's tax products and software

  • Develop a deep understanding of blithequark's tax products and software, including features, benefits, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Collaborate with SMEs and MPS to resolve complex customer issues and provide expert support
  • Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing personalized solutions
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and regulatory changes to ensure expert-level support
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* 1+ year of customer service experience, preferably in a technical or software-related field

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate solutions clearly and empathetically
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Proficiency in using technology, including software applications and online platforms
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

  • Knowledge of tax preparation software and products
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Experience working with diverse customer populations, including those with varying levels of technical expertise
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
