Key Responsibilities

As a remote sales chat representative, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Advertising and selling shipping containers to customers worldwide using our software
  • Responding to customer inquiries via chat, email, and phone, providing timely and accurate information to build trust and rapport
  • Following up with customers to encourage them to place an order, using our software to send invoices and close sales
  • Collaborating with sales managers to ensure seamless handoffs and follow-up with customers via phone calls
  • Participating in daily training sessions to stay up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and best practices
  • Joining a Q&A group and working with mentors to achieve sales goals and overcome challenges

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 1+ year of sales experience, preferably in a remote or customer-facing role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Proficiency in using software applications, including CRM systems and chat platforms
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a global team
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the shipping container industry or a related field
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Salesforce or HubSpot
  • Proficiency in multiple languages, including English
