As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to customers of America's leading online travel agency, helping them navigate their travel plans and resolving any issues that may arise.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with customers to resolve their travel-related issues and provide personalized support.

The Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming calls from customers and providing exceptional support
  • Reviewing customer history as necessary to resolve issues
  • Following policy and procedure guidelines to ensure accurate and efficient resolution of customer issues
  • Helping customers change travel plans, confirm or obtain their itinerary, request refunds, or report travel issues
  • Processing refunds and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Placing outbound calls to travel partners (hotels, rental car agencies, etc.) as necessary to resolve customer issues
  • Documenting information and outcomes as necessary to ensure accurate record-keeping

Requirements

To be a successful Customer Service Representative, you will need:

  • Prior customer service experience
  • Strong geographical knowledge
  • Experience working in the travel industry or personal experience using travel products is preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Easy to work with

  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrates empathy effectively

Equipment Requirements

To perform the duties of a Customer Service Representative, you will need:

  • A computer and equipment meeting the following specifications, at a minimum:

+ Internet: High-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or satellite) + Operating System: Windows 10 + Processor: Intel Core i5, 1.5 GHz and above + Memory: 8GB of RAM + Hard Drive: 256GB + Browser: Internet Explorer 11 and latest version of Google Chrome + Monitor: Dual monitors, each capable of displaying at least 1920 x 1080 pixels + Sound: Sound card (standard on most computers) + Virus Protection: Up-to-date anti-virus software + Headset: USB noise-canceling headset
