The Role
As a Part Time Customer Service/Lot Attendant at blithequark Store, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring that they have a positive experience with our products and services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting customers inside and outside the store with blithequark products and services
- Using smartphone-based technology to manage rentals and inventory
- Moving and hooking up blithequark trucks and trailers
- Cleaning and inspecting equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels
- Answering questions and educating customers regarding products and services
- Preparing rental invoices and accepting equipment returned from rental
- Installing hitches and trailer wiring
- Filling propane (certification offered through blithequark upon employment)
- Driving a forklift (certification offered through blithequark upon employment)
- Participating in ongoing continuous education through blithequark University

Requirements
* Valid driver's license
- Availability to work part-time/weekends and holidays
- Ability to be flexible with inside and outside duties (part of the duties is to sanitize the trucks)
- Computer knowledge
- Ability to handle cash and credit transactions with customers (not required but a plus)
Work Environment
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.
Physical Demands
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around indoors and outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
