Experienced Customer Experience Representative (Contractor) – Delivering Exceptional Service in a Remote Environment

As a key member of our customer-facing team, you'll be the first point of contact for customers with questions or issues, and your passion for delivering exceptional service will make every interaction an incredible experience. This is a part-time, 100% remote opportunity, and we're seeking a motivated individual who can work from home and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Customer Experience Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for helping our customers achieve success with the buying and selling of used products on our Archive sites. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service, and you'll be the go-to person for customers with questions or concerns. Here are some key responsibilities you'll be expected to handle:

  • Respond quickly to customer-submitted email requests, providing timely and accurate solutions to their queries
  • Troubleshoot and guide customers through any questions or concerns, ensuring that their issues are resolved efficiently and effectively
  • Partner with internal teams to solve larger customer-related issues, working collaboratively to find solutions that meet our customers' needs
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, ensuring that you're always informed about our products and services
  • Document problems and resolutions, escalating issues as necessary to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service
  • Follow up with customers to ensure that issues have been addressed successfully, and that they're satisfied with the outcome

What You Need for This Position

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess a range of skills and qualities, including:

  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on case ownership, positive attitude, excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Prior experience working with customers, either in a retail, hospitality, online support, or other customer-facing environment
  • Prior experience with Zendesk is a plus, but not essential
  • Basic knowledge of e-commerce retail, including the principles of online sales and customer service
  • Customer-facing experience is highly desirable, as is the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and customers
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suites is essential, as is the ability to work remotely with little supervision while still completing daily tasks
  • A customer-focused approach is essential, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience
  • The ability to think critically, troubleshoot, and solve complex problems in a fast-paced, changing environment is crucial
  • Availability to work 8 AM - 6 PM PST, with a preference for working a weekend day
  • This is a part-time role with a maximum of 30 available hours, and we're open to US applicants only
