Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Cantonese Customer Support Specialist to join our team. As a customer support specialist, you will be responsible for receiving inbound phone calls, resolving patient inquiries, and providing top-notch support to our patients, doctors, and insurers. Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will enable you to effectively address patient concerns, triage issues to appropriate teams, and document all call information according to our operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and resolve inbound phone calls from patients, doctors, and insurers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide patient care and support to accurately resolve inquiries and triage issues to appropriate teams when required
  • Meet and exceed structured performance targets, ensuring high-quality support and excellent patient satisfaction
  • Document all call information and data discovery according to operating procedures, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to security and privacy practices
  • Utilize Knowledge Base materials as a foundation for resolving inquiries and stay up-to-date with product changes, new features, and product launches
  • Maintain a working knowledge of company-related security and privacy practices, ensuring the protection of patient and proprietary information
  • Participate in continued education and training to develop a deep understanding of our products, services, and industry trends
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share feedback and improve the patient experience, contributing to the development of our products, materials, and processes

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Bilingual Cantonese language skills, with a strong command of the English language
  • High school diploma or GED required, with a Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Customer service or inbound call center experience, with a preference for healthcare, pharmacy, or relevant industry experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, doctors, and insurers
  • Sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and a strong operational focus
