Responsibilities

As a Financial Data Entry Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Accurate Data Entry: Perform alphanumeric data entry from various source documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Data Verification: Verify data accuracy by comparing with original documents or re-entering in verification format to identify discrepancies.
  • Data Compilation: Compile, sort, and validate data before entry to maintain quality standards.
  • Error Identification and Correction: Identify and correct data entry errors, or escalate them to supervisors as needed.
  • Data Logging: Maintain detailed logs of data entry activities and completed tasks for tracking and audit purposes.
  • Source Document Entry: Enter information from source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills into designated data fields.
  • High-Volume Data Entry: Manage high-volume data entry tasks efficiently, with a focus on meeting production targets.
  • Spreadsheet and Database Management: Utilize spreadsheet and database software to manage data and perform required tasks.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

2+ years of experience

in data entry or a related field

  • Experience level: Experienced

Basic computer skills
