What You’ll Do
As a Remote Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through:
- Efficiently managing a high volume of inbound calls: Handle a high volume of calls in a fast-paced environment, using your skills and experience to resolve customer inquiries and issues efficiently.
- Listening actively to understand customer needs: Listen carefully to customers to understand their needs and concerns, and respond with empathy and clarity.
- Accessing cardholder accounts: Access cardholder accounts to provide information about payments and benefits deposited by state or federal agencies.
- Assisting cardholders with inquiries: Assist cardholders with inquiries regarding transactions and account statuses.
- Processing transactions efficiently: Process transactions efficiently via web-based applications and handle research requests with precision.
- Communicating in a warm, empathetic manner: Communicate with customers in a warm, empathetic manner, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all regulations.
- Maintaining in-depth knowledge of company and client programs: Stay up-to-date on company and client programs, policies, and technology to provide accurate and informed responses to customer inquiries.
- Supporting team operations: Support team operations during peak times or absences to help maintain seamless service.

Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old: Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Have 6 months of customer service, call center, or dispatch experience: Demonstrate a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
- Complete a background check, credit check, and security fingerprinting: Meet our security and compliance requirements.
- Comply with camera requirements for meetings and training: Participate in virtual meetings and training sessions.
- Have a verified, secure, reliable, and high-speed internet connection: Ensure a stable and secure internet connection to support business needs.
- Have an established, dedicated work area: Provide a dedicated workspace with a desk, chair, electrical outlet, and direct LAN connection.
- Have working knowledge of computers and Windows applications: Demonstrate proficiency in using computers and Windows applications.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
- 1+ years of previous call center experience: Demonstrate a strong understanding of call center operations and customer service principles.
