Scope of Responsibilities

As an Experienced Pharmacy Technician, you will work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, following standard procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing customer service and problem resolution to assigned facilities
• Accurately entering patient profiles and medications
• Maintaining accurate information for patients and facilities
• Billing and crediting each facility appropriately and accurately each month
• Maintaining reasonable production as determined by supervisor
• Traveling to individual homes for meetings or drug exchanges (as required)
• Assisting in orienting and training new employees
• Completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
• Performing other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED (minimum)

• AS Degree or Higher in Business Administration or related field (preferred)
• 3-6 months experience as a pharmacy technician (preferred)
• Registered with the State of Vermont, New Hampshire, or Ohio as a Pharmacy Technician (required, depending on location)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent organization and multitasking skills
• Broad knowledge of medications and physician orders
• General computer and keyboarding skills
• Successful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening test

Compensation and Benefits

* Hourly rate: $14.56 - $19.45
