Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Technician with blithequark's Customs Brokerage team, you'll be responsible for:
- Ensuring accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
- Understanding and identifying customs documentation
- Transposing customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to allow for the build of a valid customs declaration
- Verifying documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct
- Providing excellent customer service, building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally
- Ensuring compliance at all times to regulations
- Daily execution of workflow and department metrics
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. business, logistics, supply chain)
- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proficient computer skills, including solid data entry with a high accuracy rate, email, internet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- A growth mindset, with a desire to learn and develop your skills
- A passion for a career in supply chain and logistics
