Job Summary

As a Part-Time Customer Support Specialist – Remote Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. You will work closely with our customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to our products and services, while also maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. This is a part-time remote position, requiring a flexible schedule and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide technical support and service to customers via phone, email, and chat, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to our products and services, including soft drink fountain machines and refrigeration equipment
  • Perform mechanical services and light repairs on soft drink fountain equipment, adhering to company standards and procedures
  • Investigate and diagnose issues with pop fountain equipment, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
  • Maintain all refrigeration equipment in good working condition, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
  • Move equipment to perform all mechanical services on fountain hardware, including preventative maintenance, software updates, and cosmetic repairs
  • Remain positive, work collaboratively with colleagues, and create exceptional customer-centric organizations
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* Secondary school diploma or equivalent degree/certificate

  • Valid driver's license
  • Technical aptitude and ability to fix machines
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., mechanical engineering, technical services)

  • Previous experience in a customer support or technical services role
  • Knowledge of soft drink fountain equipment and refrigeration systems
  • Familiarity with software and hardware troubleshooting and repair
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
