Job Responsibilities

As an Experienced Proofreader & Customer Representative Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Proofreading Written and Digital Work Product: Review and edit written content, including marketing materials, internal documents, emails, press releases, and website text, to ensure accuracy, grammar, punctuation, syntax, usage, consistency, and brand voice.
• Crosschecking References and Data: Verify the accuracy of all referenced facts and double-check cross-referenced materials to ensure the highest level of accuracy.
• Review Output for Consistency: Review content to ensure consistency with company-wide work, including campaign, product, or brand consistency.
• Collaborate with Team Members: Attend team meetings, provide constructive editorial input, and communicate with team members to ensure consistent, accurate, and high-quality work product.
• Improve Editing Processes: Suggest process improvements and evaluate and recommend changes to create efficiencies.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for proofreading.
• Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
