Job Summary

As an Experienced Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, assisting pharmacists with medication dispensing, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be responsible for data entry, customer service, and other administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities

* Assist pharmacists with medication dispensing, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical tablets

• Verify medication accuracy and check for potential interactions
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including prescription errors and claims
• Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues
• Develop strong relationships with customers and healthcare professionals
• Participate in training and development programs to maintain expertise and knowledge in healthcare and pharmacy
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including those related to patient confidentiality and data security

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification or registration a plus

• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
• Previous experience in retail or healthcare environment a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of pharmacy systems

Preferred Qualifications

* Six months of experience in a retail or healthcare environment

• Previous work experience with blithequark
• Desired math skills to fill prescriptions accurately
• Familiarity with store inventory management
• % certification a plus
