Job Description

The Senior Salesforce Administrator is responsible for leading the implementation and continuous improvement of LCS business systems, with a primary focus on Salesforce CRM. This hybrid role is responsible for both declarative configuration and programmatic development. Approximately 70% of the role will be spent on Salesforce administration and 30% on development, acting as a key technical resource for the Salesforce ecosystem. This role serves as a Salesforce expert, combining solution design, platform architecture, and project delivery. Experience is Everything. At LCS, experience is everything.   • Manage and deliver CRM initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, scope definition, project planning, testing, deployment, and change management.
  • Configure, enhance, and maintain Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud (Pardot, Engage), and related tools using both declarative and programmatic approaches.
  • Build and maintain declarative automation using Flows.
  • Perform data management tasks, including data uploads, deduplication, and data cleansing using tools like Data Loader.
  • Design and support integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems, ensuring data integrity and operational reliability.
  • Write robust, scalable, and maintainable Apex code (Triggers, Classes, Controllers, Batches).
  • Follow Salesforce development best practices, including governor limits, code style, and deployment standards.
  • Manage sandbox environments and deploy changes using established release management processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions that optimize business processes.
  • Maintain system governance through effective security controls, user access management, documentation, and release planning.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including functional specifications and configuration guides, to support knowledge transfer and ensure system integrity.
  • Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve system capabilities and user experience.
  • Mentor/coach the team on Salesforce best practices and capabilities
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

  • Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience required.
  • At least 8+ years of relevant experience with at least 5 of those working directly with Salesforce.
  • Proven experience in administering and configuring Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud (Pardot, Engage).
  • Demonstrated ability to design solutions for CRM initiatives from concept to completion.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to read and understand technical documents.
  • Deep expertise in declarative automation, with a strong proficiency in Salesforce Flow.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce administration including Flows.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including security, permission sets, data models, and role hierarchies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established deadlines.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality results.
  • Preferred qualifications
  • Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer).
  • Expertise in development (Apex, Visualforce, LWC, SOQL).
