About the Role
As a Part-Time Remote Psychotherapist at Backpack Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering our mission by providing therapeutic counseling via telehealth to our pediatric and adolescent population. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client. Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic counseling services to pediatric and adolescent clients via telehealth
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client
- Conduct regular assessments and progress monitoring to ensure optimal treatment outcomes
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement new programs and services that meet the evolving needs of our clients
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in pediatric and adolescent behavioral health
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and standards of care in the delivery of services
Essential Qualifications
* Active LMSW (Licensed Master's Social Worker) or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic health records and telehealth platforms
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced certifications in pediatric and adolescent behavioral health, such as CADC or LPC
- Experience working with diverse populations, including those from low-income backgrounds and those with complex trauma histories
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care and cultural humility
- Experience with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills
