As an Associate Manager of Production, you will be playing a critical role in achieving the organizational objectives in General Assembly manufacturing. You will lead a team of Supervisors and take a KPI driven approach toward daily operations. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with our process, maintenance, quality, engineering and PMI teams to solve problems, drive continuous improvement to achieve the performance targets and new product introductions. Responsibilities

• Develop & maintain standardized work Instructions used in production by the Production Associates
• Support the development of Process Failure Modes Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to identify critical risks in the production processes with the Manufacturing Process Engineers
• Develop training programs and hiring plans for production associates Support of control plans to assure critical features are controlled through the production process
• Manage Supervisors, Leads and Production Associates and develop the team structures used in the Tesla Factory
• Support issue resolution including root cause investigation & corrective action tracking
• Ensure quality standards are being met throughout the entire production process and support no defects from leaving a station or team area

• 5+ year experience managing teams of people in high volume manufacturing setting
• Degree in Business or Technical discipline and/or equivalent manufacturing experience
• Ability to work with and develop production performance metrics (efficiency, quality, safety, throughput, costs)
• Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
• Communicate clearly using excellent written and verbal skills
• Strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Fluent with common MS office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Expected Compensation$96,000 - $144,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefitsPay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
