Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Home Depot's Cumeberland Grounds complex and its partners. Your key responsibilities will include: * Monitoring the Cumeberland Grounds complex and responding to any unexpected events * Conducting security investigations and documenting incidents * Interviewing witnesses and victims of incidents * Responding to crisis situations and providing support to affected parties * Performing security checks and patrols of the Cumeberland Grounds and other designated areas * Escorting partners and guests to designated parking areas * Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., security, law enforcement, criminology) * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to read and write to complete reports and record-keeping tasks * Physical ability to perform security checks and respond to emergency situations * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications and skills are preferred: * Previous experience in security or law enforcement * Knowledge of security protocols and procedures * Familiarity with security software and technology * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Work Environment

As a remote security officer, you will work from home with occasional on-site visits to the Cumeberland Grounds complex. You will be required to work independently and use your own equipment to perform security checks and respond to emergency situations.
