Experienced Healthcare Surveyor - Flexible Working Opportunities in the South East

Main Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking a significant fee-earning role, achieving a fee target that is reviewed annually
  • Promoting the company values, leading by example, and acting as an ambassador for the company both internally and externally
  • Generating new business for the healthcare team and wider company
  • Liaising with portfolio clients and undertaking an active role in relationship management and progressing rent reviews and Landlord and Tenant work as required
  • Helping with the Sale and Leaseback/Agency aspects

Key Responsibilities:

* Conducting site visits and surveys to assess the value of healthcare properties

  • Providing expert advice on rent reviews, lease renewals, and other Landlord and Tenant matters
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Identifying new business opportunities and generating leads
  • Collaborating with the wider team to achieve business objectives

Requirements

To be successful as a Healthcare Surveyor, you will need:

  • RICS qualification
  • Landlord and Tenant experience, particularly in relation to negotiations for rent review and lease renewal
  • Experience in healthcare/GP premises, with some knowledge of dental and pharmacy markets (desirable but not essential)
  • Registered valuer and full valuation experience (not essential but a knowledge of valuation processes, particularly investment method, required for sale and leaseback work)

  • Strong business development and relationship management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

* Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g. surveying, law, business)

  • Experience in a similar role or industry
  • Strong knowledge of the healthcare market and industry trends
  • Ability to speak multiple languages (desirable)
