Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Call Center Agent to join our team in Hawaii. As a Call Center Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support through phone, email, and chat. About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas to drive success. As a Call Center Agent, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering calls and making reservations
  • Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues
  • Providing customers with flight, route, and pricing information
  • Identifying and escalating priority issues
  • Working effectively in a team environment and individually
  • Learning, understanding, and communicating the terms of the company's Contract of Carriage
  • Becoming proficient in various software and reservation systems used

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, and chat
  • Answer calls and make reservations in a timely and efficient manner
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide customers with accurate and up-to-date information on flights, routes, and pricing
  • Identify and escalate priority issues to ensure timely resolution
  • Work effectively in a team environment and individually to achieve team goals
  • Learn, understand, and communicate the terms of the company's Contract of Carriage
  • Become proficient in various software and reservation systems used

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and skills:

Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree in a related field, such as customer service or hospitality, is preferred.

Experience

At least 1 year of call center experience is preferred. Prior airline reservations system experience is also preferred.

  • Good listening skills and the ability to project a calm, steady demeanor in all interactions
  • Stress tolerance and resilience, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to work and meet deadlines under minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task in an extremely high-paced environment
  • Ability to work late evenings, weekends, and other hours as required by the Call Center schedule
  • Ability to prioritize and execute with a sense of urgency and preciseness
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and individually
  • Ability to learn, understand, and communicate the terms of the company's Contract of Carriage
  • Ability to become proficient in various software and reservation systems used
