Job Purpose
As a Google Cloud Engineer at Securrency, you'll be responsible for deploying and monitoring services, building software delivery pipelines, and managing and learning from incidents. You'll work closely with our data engineers, data scientists, and architects to design and implement cloud-based data pipelines, ensuring seamless data flow and accessibility across our organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Expert knowledge of Terraform and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Ability to plan, configure, and deploy a cloud solution with Terraform
- Build and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for a service
- Configure access and security
- Optimize service performance
- Implement service monitoring strategies
- Implement Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) instances
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and architects on several projects
- Solve various complex problems
Requirements
* Previous experience as a cloud engineer or in a similar role
- At least 3+ years of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and GCP command line
- Technical expertise with CI/CD techniques and technologies
- Great cloud skills
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field
- Open-minded to new technologies, frameworks
Nice to Have
* Basic understanding and interest in blockchain technologies
- Experience with supporting automated testing in GCP
