Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our High-Level Examination, Content Development team. As a Data Analyst, you will apply advanced analytical techniques to drive business decisions, analyze client behavior, and forecast content commitment. You will work closely with our content team to enhance our content launch and episode release strategy, test marketing systems, and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance.

Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst at blithequark, you will:

• Apply advanced analytical techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, AI) to large-scale, high-dimensional data to inform business decisions
• Analyze client behavior (e.g., viewing patterns, engagement metrics) to identify untapped client needs and undiscovered content opportunities
• Forecast content commitment to inform acquisition decisions
• Enhance our content launch and episode release strategy to optimize engagement and retention
• Test marketing systems to streamline commitment and maintenance
• Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both strategic and key navigation
• Provide specialized analytical support to partners to drive business growth
• Effectively communicate significant results through compelling data storytelling across the organization

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong background in statistical analysis and AI techniques
• Proficiency in SQL and experience in R or Python
• Experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and apply creativity in solving complex problems
