The Role
As a Full Stack Software Engineer at blithequark, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient web and cloud applications. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet our customers' needs. You will also be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications, and for identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient web and cloud applications using a range of technologies, including Java, Scala, Go, Python, and AWS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet our customers' needs
- Ensure the quality and reliability of our applications, and identify and implement opportunities for improvement
- Work closely with our data engineering team to design and develop data pipelines and architectures
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to colleagues
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4-6 years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud applications
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
- Experience with a range of programming languages, including Java, Scala, Go, and Python
- Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS
- Strong understanding of database systems and data modeling
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
- Experience with containerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Experience with cloud security and compliance, including AWS IAM and security best practices
