Job Overview

The primary objectives of this role are to develop and implement innovative cash growth solutions that enhance client experiences, drive business growth, and foster collaboration among internal teams. You will lead a team responsible for designing, executing, and improving processes that ensure high-quality standards for Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) applications. Your expertise in product management, leadership, and collaboration will be essential in driving the success of this team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of product management professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure their growth and success.
  • Engage stakeholders and partners related to the capability, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Identify and recommend valuable opportunities for product management, focusing on simplifying products or services.
  • Design learning experiences, ensuring programs comply with compliance and privacy regulations and policies.
  • Resolve issues related to overall business strategy, making informed decisions that meet business objectives.
  • Develop strategies, create business requirements, direct product design and implementation, and suggest product improvements.
  • Support sales and marketing efforts, interpreting and developing product enhancements, and recommending product pricing, distribution strategies, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and senior-level managers, communicating effectively with internal and external partners, including vendors.
  • Manage the allocation of resources, including personnel and financial assets, for product management, and tutor and guide talent development of direct reports.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of product management experience, product development experience, or equivalent, demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing teams and driving results.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience leading a large group of testers, preferably client acceptance testers, with the ability to differentiate UAT from other testing stages.
  • Experience in test plan development and preparation/review of test reports.
  • Knowledge and understanding of product lifecycle development and implementation.
  • Ability to manage multiple large projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.
  • A high level of drive and independence, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience working with financial services partners on product strategy/product development, including industry knowledge and experience working with Wells Fargo Wealth and Investment Management.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools, such as Jira, used for tracking client stories or defects.
