Job Summary
We're seeking an Experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our Data Ventures team. As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, data warehouses, and data visualizations that meet the needs of our business stakeholders. You'll work closely with our data scientists, data analysts, and business partners to develop data solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data visualizations that meet the needs of our business stakeholders
- Collaborate with data scientists, data analysts, and business partners to develop data solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction
- Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and data documentation to ensure data quality and consistency
- Work with our data governance team to ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code
- Develop and maintain automated testing and deployment scripts to ensure efficient and reliable data processing
- Collaborate with our data engineering team to develop and maintain data infrastructure, including data storage, data processing, and data visualization tools
- Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to provide insights and recommendations to our business partners
- Participate in data architecture and design discussions to ensure alignment with business requirements and technical feasibility
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
- Experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Apache Flink, or Apache Beam
- Experience with data storage systems such as Hadoop, Cassandra, or MongoDB
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
- Strong understanding of data governance policies and procedures
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI
- Strong understanding of data architecture and design principles
- Strong understanding of data security and compliance policies and procedures
Skills and Competencies
* Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
- Experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Apache Flink, or Apache Beam
