Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Delivery - Telecom to lead our software delivery team. As a visionary leader, you will be responsible for driving business growth, innovation, and excellence in software delivery. You will oversee a business scale of $100 million to $200 million in annual revenue and manage a team of 1,000 to 1,500 people. Your technical expertise and strategic oversight will be essential in navigating the complex technical environment and ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale software projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the software delivery team to drive business growth, innovation, and excellence in software delivery

  • Oversee a business scale of $100 million to $200 million in annual revenue and manage a team of 1,000 to 1,500 people
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and innovation in software delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of large-scale software projects
  • Provide technical expertise and strategic oversight to navigate the complex technical environment
  • Foster a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and continuous learning within the team
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective software delivery
  • Analyze and interpret data to inform business decisions and drive growth
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive business growth and innovation
  • Develop and implement financial plans to ensure successful delivery of software projects within budget

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Master's degree preferred
  • 20+ years of experience in software development and project management
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial performance
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
  • Deep technical knowledge of telecom: extensive experience and expertise in the telecommunications industry, including understanding of telecom networks, protocols, and technologies
