• Current enrollment in an undergraduate program or a related program at an accredited postsecondary institution with a Major in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering Technology and Minor in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or vice-versa
• Attach your most recent transcripts with your application
• For some roles, you may need to possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Location and other Key Details:

• This is a/an 4, 8, 12, or 16-month term commitment beginning in January 2026. You will be asked to indicate your availability in your application
• Potential locations for these student roles include Calgary, St. John's, and Fort McMurray (Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo). You will be asked to indicate your location preferences in your application
• Students working in Edmonton will be located at the Suncor Edmonton Refinery. Please note, public transportation is not readily available to the refinery; the successful candidates will need to have their own means of transportation
• Students who live and work in Fort McMurray are eligible for a cash allowance to address the cost of living and the remote nature of the region. To learn more about living and working in Fort McMurray, click here
