Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service and Support Representative, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through:

  • Responding to customer needs thoroughly and in a timely manner, with accuracy and detail
  • Developing and maintaining a high level of product knowledge
  • Fielding and resolving customer issues and questions
  • Performing inside sales duties as needed
  • Utilizing consultative selling skills to establish, develop, and service new customer accounts
  • Providing quotes to customers and processing customer orders
  • Scheduling product deliveries and communicating with customers
  • Ordering inventory for replenishment
  • Maintaining a safe work environment and operating in a safe manner
  • Supporting the Supply Center Team in achieving overall goals and objectives
  • Accurate order entry
  • Following and executing any additional direction given by the Branch Manager to assist in achieving overall goals and objectives

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Results-driven with a positive attitude
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technology
  • Physical ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, talk, and listen

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • College degree
  • 2+ years' experience in a retail/wholesale environment with a demonstrated success working with customers
  • Microsoft Excel, Office, and Outlook experience
  • General knowledge of the building industry

Work Environment

As a Customer Service and Support Representative, you'll work in a warehouse environment and office space, with frequent use of company communication devices, such as a computer, cell phone, and printer. You'll also be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) issued for the branch location.
