Job Summary

As a Senior Product Designer for Online Ordering - Merchant Satisfaction, you'll play a critical role in shaping the user experience for merchants engaging with their customers through digital ordering channels. You'll own the end-to-end user experience, contribute to product strategy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful design solutions. This is a unique opportunity to lead the design of a new initiative, drive the culture and processes of our design team, and address complex design challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End User Experience Ownership: You'll be responsible for owning the user experience of our online ordering products, including contributing to product strategy and crafting visions.
• Complex Problem Solving: You'll work on complex, ambiguous problem spaces to understand opportunities and chart a path forward.
• Collaboration and Communication: You'll collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and other disciplines to build and ship designs, and deliver clear storytelling around product needs and opportunities.
• Design Craft and Storytelling: You'll create, collaborate, and refine flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals, and validate market fit for brand-new products as a 0-1 designer.

Requirements

• Product Design Experience: You have 5+ years of work experience in product design with a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality craft at scale.
• Leadership and Team Experience: You have experience leading new initiatives and achieving success in a team environment.
• 0-1 Design Experience: You have the ability to validate market fit for brand-new products as a 0-1 designer.
• Product Strategy and Vision: You have a passion for driving product strategy and vision for new product areas.
• Balancing Strategy and Design: You're skilled in balancing strategy, research, interaction design, and visual design.

Nice-to-Haves

• SaaS Products and Online Ordering Systems: You have experience with SaaS products and online ordering systems.
• User Research Methodologies: You're familiar with user research methodologies and usability testing.
• Strong Communication Skills: You have strong communication skills to articulate design decisions and rationale.
