The Role
As a Customer Support Online Chat Specialist at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional support to our users through live chat messages and support tickets. This is a full-time contractor position, working 30-40 hours a week for a 4-month contract, with the opportunity to renew based on performance.Key Responsibilities
- Answer live chat messages and support the needs of our users through our Intercom customer messaging platform in both English and either Spanish or Portuguese
- Collect and relay customer feedback to the rest of the blithequark team
- Identify potential issues and coordinate with the Development team to resolve them
- Support other Customer Support projects as necessary
- Handle phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, addressing inquiries, providing information, and resolving issues effectively
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years in Customer Support/Service
- Strong fluency in English and bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese
- Reliably strong internet connection (at least 10 MB/s)
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, if needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in Polish, German, French, Italian, or Tagalog
- Familiarity with software such as Intercom, Stripe, Retool, Notion, Slack, Braintree, Zoom, Google Workspace, and Zendesk
- Coding knowledge (not required but a plus)
- Proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese with excellent communication skills in both languages
