As a Remote Banking Support Specialist, you'll play a critical role in helping our customers navigate the complexities of banking and rewards programs, ensuring that they have a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced bilingual customer service representative to join our team on a temporary basis until January 31, 2025, with the possibility of hire based on performance. As a Remote Banking Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch support to our customers, helping them to track shipments, cancel orders, refund reward points, and resolve issues related to damaged shipments. You'll also assist customers in booking travel using their accumulated reward points, providing expert guidance on flights, car rentals, activities, and cruises.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to multiple bank customers via phone, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded

  • Assist customers in tracking shipments, canceling orders, refunding reward points, and resolving issues related to damaged shipments
  • Help customers book travel using their accumulated reward points, providing expert guidance on flights, car rentals, activities, and cruises
  • Utilize strong communication and problem-solving skills to resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and provide seamless support
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including first-call resolution, customer satisfaction, and average handle time

Requirements

* High School Diploma or equivalent (must be on resume)

  • 6+ months of customer service and call center experience (previous experience in a banking or financial services environment is a plus)
  • Exceptional phone and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to resolve complex customer issues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity software
  • Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) are a plus, but not required

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a banking or financial services environment

  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Knowledge of banking and rewards programs
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
