About the Role

As a Customer Care Representative at blithequark, you'll be an integral part of our OCC team, working closely with aviation experts to resolve operational business challenges and drive strategic decision-making. You'll be assigned to one of our specialized teams, including Load Control Center or Fuel Strategy, where you'll utilize data to inform business decisions and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to optimize operational performance and resolve business challenges.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential disruptions to our global network.
  • Utilize data analysis and insights to inform business decisions and drive process improvements.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop and implement new applications and efficiencies to reduce manual effort for the front-line team.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of blithequark's operations, including aircraft weight and balance, fuel consumption, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, security, and customer satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to meet the following essential qualifications:

  • Pursuing a four-year degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Analytics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or Aviation Management.
  • Availability to work for three alternating semesters in Atlanta, GA, Monday through Friday, 8AM - 5PM schedule.
  • Enrolled with an educational institution throughout the term of the co-op program.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively in both team and individual settings.
  • High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the US.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

  • Familiarity with SQL, SAS, Python, R, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of airline operations, scheduling, and planning.
  • Experience in leadership roles, including student and community organizations.
  • Passionate about a future career in the aviation industry and serving blithequark's customers.
