Job Summary

As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in processing various medical documents, extracting data, and entering it into our electronic database using Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word. You will work independently and collaboratively with our team to ensure timely completion of cases, address questions, and document progress. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a metrics-driven environment will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

A Day in the Role

* Process various medical documents, including Independent Medical Reviews, and extract relevant data

• Enter data into our electronic database using Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word
• Work independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure timely completion of cases
• Use critical thinking skills to determine next steps and reach out to clients via phone to obtain missing information
• Provide exceptional customer service and client coordination over the phone
• Collaborate with the team to address questions, document progress, and ensure timely completion of cases

Requirements

* High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 1 year of remote work experience
• Reliable high-speed internet connection
• Own computer or laptop (no Chromebooks) with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word installed
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims is preferred
• Previous experience working in a metrics-based environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

Schedule

* Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST

• Flexible work schedule with occasional overtime as needed
