The Role - Full Stack Developer (Virtual Assistant)

We're looking for a seasoned Full Stack Developer to join our OnBrand Production team as a Virtual Assistant. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for executing development projects, writing high-quality code, and producing digital experiences that meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute development for multiple parallel project engagements, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Write high-quality code for digital platforms using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a focus on accessibility, responsiveness, and performance.
  • Produce, maintain, and modify digital experiences and user interfaces, collaborating with UX/UI, copy, and design teams to develop the overall look and design of digital experiences.
  • Ensure that best practices regarding accessibility, responsiveness, performance, and ease of use are included early on in project ideation, and develop an overall development approach to guide other developers through execution to delivery.
  • Provide proactive coaching, feedback, and oversight for developers on project-based work, and partner with the QA team to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
  • Identify patterns and use learnings to optimize overall development processes, and ensure all digital experiences align to industry standards and best practices.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a focus on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of web development principles, including accessibility, responsiveness, and performance.
  • Experience with UX/UI design principles and human-centered design approaches.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with QA and testing methodologies, including automated testing tools.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in digital development.
