Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced Medical Transcriptionist to join our growing team. As a Medical Transcriptionist for radiology reports, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our diagnostic reports. This is a 100% remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe medical reports, summaries, and other medical documents from recorded messages with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Review and edit drafts to ensure adherence to report format and accuracy of medical terminology.
• Utilize foot pedal and macro systems efficiently to optimize productivity.
• Coordinate with medical staff to clarify any unclear or vague information, ensuring the highest quality reports.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all transcription reports and patient records, adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Medical Transcriptionist with a focus on radiology (5+ years).
• Availability to work from Saturday to Wednesday.
• Proficiency in using foot pedal transcription equipment and computer software.
• Excellent typing speed with exceptional accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and treatments related to radiology.
• Proficient computer skills with access to a reliable computer and high-quality headset.
• Detail-oriented with a strong ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred:

• Familiarity with RamSoft and Infinitt software.
• Experience working with a variety of radiology reporting systems.
• Strong understanding of radiology procedures and terminology.
