About the Role: Substitute Teacher

We're seeking an experienced and passionate Substitute Teacher to join our team in Far Hills, NJ. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality instruction and support to students in various educational settings, including elementary, middle, and high schools.
• Develop and implement lesson plans, ensuring continuity and engagement for students.
• Build positive relationships with students, teachers, and school staff, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
• Manage classroom behavior, promoting a safe and respectful atmosphere.
• Communicate effectively with school administrators and teachers, providing feedback and insights on student progress.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development, enhancing your skills and knowledge as an educator.

Essential Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits.
• Three professional references, including one from a previous direct supervisor.
• NJ Substitute Credential.
• Background check and TB risk assessment (we'll cover the cost of this).
• Full COVID-19 vaccination.
• A passion for education and putting students first.
• An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Substitute Teacher or educator.
• Specialized training or certifications in areas like Special Education, English as a Second Language, or STEM education.
• Experience working with diverse student populations and age groups.
