Job Summary

As a Part-Time Customer Support Specialist – Remote Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers in the Fife Region. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the optimal performance of our soft drink dispensing equipment, troubleshooting issues, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a part-time role that requires flexibility, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform mechanical services and light remanufacturing on soft drink dispensing equipment as per blithequark's standards

  • Investigate and diagnose issues with pop fountain equipment
  • Maintain all refrigeration equipment in proper working condition
  • Move equipment to perform all mechanical services on fountain hardware, including preventative maintenance, software updates, and cosmetic appearance
  • Remain positive, work as a team player, and create excellent customer support-oriented organizations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer complaints and issues
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of blithequark's products, services, and policies
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance technical skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* Secondary School diploma or equivalent degree/certificate

  • Valid driver's license
  • Technical aptitude to repair machines
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Adaptability to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., mechanical engineering, technical services)

  • Previous experience in a customer support or technical services role
  • Familiarity with soft drink dispensing equipment and refrigeration systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
