Job Summary

As a Guest Relation Officer / Live Chat Agent, you will be responsible for managing incoming guest inquiries via live chat, providing prompt and accurate responses, and resolving client complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner. You will also maintain a detailed knowledge of our properties, services, and promotions to provide informed assistance to our guests. Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing Incoming Guest Inquiries: Respond to live chat inquiries from guests in a prompt and accurate manner, providing information about our properties, services, and promotions.
  • Assisting with Reservations and Property Inquiries: Help guests with reservations, property inquiries, and other service-related questions, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Resolving Client Complaints: Address and resolve client complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner, following up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining Knowledge of Properties and Services: Stay up-to-date on our properties, services, and promotions to provide informed assistance to our guests.
  • Documenting Interactions: Document interactions with guests and follow up on unresolved inquiries to enhance customer experience.
  • Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Work with team members to improve service delivery and identify trends in guest feedback, contributing to the development of new processes and procedures.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service or guest relations, preferably in the real estate or hospitality industry.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-oriented mindset, with the ability to resolve client complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Familiarity with Live Chat Software and CRM Tools: Familiarity with live chat software and customer relationship management (CRM) tools, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Independent Work: Ability to work independently in a remote setting, managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Detail-Oriented: Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Hospitality or a Related Field: A degree in hospitality or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience with Live Chat Software: Experience with live chat software, such as LiveChat, Zendesk, or Freshdesk.
  • Familiarity with CRM Systems: Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
