Position Overview

As an Executive Assistant for the Social Media team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the team's daily activities. Your responsibilities will range from providing administrative support to the VP of Social Media, managing schedules, coordinating travel arrangements, and assisting with event planning, to staying updated on the latest social media trends and platform changes. Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing overall administrative support for the VP, Social Media, including scheduling meetings, answering calls, and managing travel arrangements.
  • Assisting other social leads with day-to-day team needs and helping with team event planning as needed.
  • Managing agency relationships, SOWs, and budgets, and working with the social marketing team on planning and organization.
  • Coordinating with teams across the department on schedules and planning, and staying updated on social trends and platform changes.
  • Updating department documentation, assisting the social title team with additional tasks, and serving as a back-up for other department assistants when needed.
  • Preparing and tracking expense reports, setting up meetings, and performing various other administrative tasks.
  • Interacting with a wide variety of internal and external contacts on behalf of the executive, handling internal and external communications with a high degree of diplomacy, and handling confidential and sensitive information.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in an administrative capacity, with a keen interest in social media and marketing.
  • Creative, proactive, and independent thinking, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong creative writing skills, effective communication skills in both verbal and written form, and the ability to build and manage relationships.
  • Extreme attention to detail, ability to learn new systems quickly, and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Keynote.
  • Knowledge of the social media landscape and strong scheduling and planning abilities.

  • 1+ years of experience supporting an executive in the entertainment industry.
