As a Customer Support Response Specialist, you will be working on a remote basis, providing support to customers through our Driver Assistance Program.

Job Overview

As a Customer Support Response Specialist, you will be responsible for listening carefully to callers, evaluating their situations, and providing appropriate solutions to resolve their issues. Calls can range from simple mapping and navigation to emergency situations, requiring a high degree of caring, empathy, and decisiveness. You will be working independently as a contractor, scheduling your own hours and working from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer support and assistance to customers through our Driver Assistance Program
  • Listen carefully to callers, evaluate their situations, and provide appropriate solutions to resolve their issues
  • Handle stressful situations in a calming manner, exhibiting a high degree of caring and empathy
  • Multi-task to find answers while on calls with customers
  • React and respond decisively in emergency situations
  • Reassure, control, and diffuse emotional and/or difficult calls

Schedule and Flexibility

As a contractor with blithequark, you will have the flexibility to schedule your own hours and work at times that are convenient for you. Our client hours of operation are 24x7, and we are looking for contractors who can provide 20+ hours per week on this program.

Compensation and Benefits

As a Customer Support Response Specialist with blithequark, you will be compensated on a per-minute basis, with a guaranteed minimum of 45 minutes per available hour. Our contractors can expect to earn an equivalent of $12.60 - $16.80 per hour, with bilingual contractors earning a higher rate of $0.31 per customer interaction minute.

Compensation Highlights:

  • The contract rate for handling customer interactions will be $0.28 per customer interaction minute
  • Contractors are guaranteed a minimum of 45 minutes per available hour
  • Contractors on this program can expect to earn an equivalent of $12.60 - $16.80 per hour
  • Bilingual contractors will earn a rate of $0.31 per customer interaction minute with a 48-minute minimum guarantee
  • Bilingual contractors can expect to earn an equivalent of $14.88 - $18.60 per hour

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful as a Customer Support Response Specialist with blithequark, you will need to possess a caring, sympathetic, and helpful demeanor, with strong customer service skills and the ability to multi-task. Prior experience with driver assistance programs is a bonus, but not required.

  • Ability to react and respond decisively in emergency situations
  • Ability to reassure, control, and diffuse emotional and/or difficult calls
  • Prior experience with driver assistance programs is a bonus, but not required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Spanish and/or French Canadian

Technical Requirements

To work as a Customer Support Response Specialist with blithequark, you will need to have a quiet, uninterrupted environment during all working hours, a broadband internet connection, and a wired internet connection. You will also need to have a Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system, valid antivirus software, and a wired USB headset with microphone.

Technical Requirements:

  • Quiet, uninterrupted environment during all working hours
  • Broadband internet connection, recommended at least 10 MBPS
  • Wired internet connection to be used during tech setups, while attending education classes and while working
  • Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system must be used
  • Valid antivirus software installed, running and up to date
  • Wired USB headset with microphone (Gaming headsets not accepted)
  • Contractors must have a smart phone, Android tablet or iPad and be willing to install an authentication app related to program work
