Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Airport Agent to join our team, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our airport operations. As an Airport Agent, you will be responsible for guiding and directing incoming and outgoing aircraft, loading and unloading passenger baggage and cargo, and collaborating with our internal team to ensure a safe and on-time departure. Key Responsibilities

  • Guide and direct incoming and outgoing aircraft on the taxiway to ensure safe and on-time arrival and departure
  • Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, cargo, and company materials, including items weighing up to 75 lbs
  • Operate ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and bag carts to support aircraft operations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure safe and on-time departure, including communicating with flight crews and other airport staff
  • Clean the interior of aircraft, clean and service aircraft lavatories, and perform other duties as required to maintain a high level of customer service
  • Work rotating shifts, including days, overnights, weekends, holidays, and rotating days off, with flexibility to work additional hours with short notice when operationally necessary

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum age: 18
  • High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
  • Valid, unexpired, and unsuspended state driver's license, with some license restrictions potentially prohibiting consideration for this role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on customer service and safety
  • Physical ability to carry, bend, lift, and turn with bags and other items weighing up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to work outside in variable weather conditions and tolerate exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental factors
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
