About Consumer Insight, Measurement & Analytics (CIMA)

CIMA is the heartbeat of data-driven decision-making within Disney Experiences, serving as a center of excellence that harnesses the power of analytics, integration, and insights to shape our strategy. Within CIMA, the Digital and Travel Operations Analytics (DTOA) team is at the forefront of leveraging best practices in analytics to capture, analyze, and optimize our digital and contact center channels, driving Guest satisfaction and business outcomes.

Job Overview

We're seeking a seasoned Manager, Digital Analytics, with a passion for creative problem-solving, analytics, and digital technology. As a key member of the DTOA team, you'll work closely with partner teams in a fast-paced environment, conducting in-depth analyses, crafting compelling stories from data, and communicating insights to diverse audiences. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting the Disneyland Resort business, with a focus on the disneyland.com website, including vacation booking and ticket purchase experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret Digital Performance: Analyze digital performance as part of the business narrative, including observations, key insights, and recommendations.
  • Present Findings: Effectively present findings to partners and executives, driving informed decision-making.
  • Lead Deep Dive Analyses: Conduct comprehensive analyses of user behavior across the digital ecosystem.
  • Support Partners: Provide regular reporting and ad-hoc analyses to support partner teams.
  • Digital Tracking Strategies: Lead the creation of digital tracking strategies for mobile app enhancements and coordinate with developers on the delivery of tracking solutions.
  • Adobe Analytics Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on Adobe Analytics implementation strategy.
  • Optimization Tactics: Recommend optimization tactics based on analyses, driving business growth.
  • Team Management: Manage prioritization for the team, adjusting to changing business priorities.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with partners to enable holistic storytelling.
  • Innovation: Proactively drive innovation in the digital analytics space.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • Analytical Experience: 5+ years of analytical experience, with a proven track record of deriving actionable insights from data.
  • Digital Analytics Tools: 3+ years of experience with digital analytics tools such as Adobe or Google Analytics.
  • Mobile Application/Website Analytics: Experience defining mobile application or website analytics tracking requirements.
  • Independent Time Management: Strong independent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience leading a team, with a proven ability to guide and develop team members.
  • Actionable Insights: Ability to derive actionable insights from data and effectively guide decision-making.
  • Segmentation Understanding: Strong understanding of segmentation as it relates to digital analytics core principles.
  • Team Player: Ability to excel as a team player in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Relational Database Concepts: Knowledge of relational database concepts.
  • Digital Analytics KPIs: Expert knowledge of digital analytics KPIs.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Project Ownership: Ability to own analytical projects from ideation to completion.
  • Ambiguity: Ability to work with ambiguity, adapting to changing priorities.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in an analytical/quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Mathematics).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Analytical Experience: 8+ years of analytical experience, with a deeper understanding of complex data analysis.
  • Extended Digital Analytics Experience: 5+ years of experience with digital analytics tools such as Adobe or Google Analytics.
  • Travel Industry Experience: Experience in the travel industry, with a nuanced understanding of its unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Advanced Degree: MBA or Master's degree in a quantitative field, demonstrating advanced analytical capabilities.
